Hamadryade Lodge
 Hamadryade Lodge

The lodge is an elegant example of contemporary architecture nested at the heart of the exuberant nature of the Amazon rainforest between Tena and Misahualli. The luxurious bungalows with their sumptuous bathrooms will offer a unique opportunity to experience the Ecuadorian jungle. Overlooking the Napo River, the sounds of the jungle will accompany your dreams for a perfect night. Each bungalow is a tribute to the mysterious cultures of various Amazonian ethnic groups, a harmonious alliance between tradition and modern design. Each bungalow is a tribute to the nature as well as to some of the ethnic groups cultural esthetics and symbolism. The colors they chose for the bungalows are directly inspired by the Amazonian Environment: the red soil, the wings of a butterfly, tree leaves or wild flowers. Each ceiling displays the main animal and vegetal symbols from four important ethnic groups: Quichuas, Shuars, Huoaranis, and Cofanes. These symbols and representations give to each bungalow a proper identity with an ethnic and even mystic dimension.

The Hamadryade is comprised of just five exceptional, romantic and exclusive large luxury cabanas secluded in the lush rainforest.  Each cabana has a wall made of glass accompanied by patio doors that open up to a private deck for sunbathing or romantic rainforest dinners. The suites offer king size beds or large twins with the highest quality Egyptian linen cotton, ample space, and luxurious bathrooms.  The lodge offers also a swimming pool, made completely eco efficiently by recycling rainwater which is carefully filtered so that chemicals are not fed back to the water cycle. Hammocks and sun loungers surround the pool and are covered if you prefer to be outside but under canopy if it rains. The bar and dining area are open to the elements to ensure guests experience the sounds and senses of the jungle any time of day.  Delicious meals incorporate French and Ecuadorian flavours expertly and the staff will help to provide the utmost comfort and quality for every guest at the Hamadryade Lodge.
